Paul Rankin Pe

Paul Rankin, PE, currently serves as the Design Engineering Manager at Performance Friction, a position held since July 2014, where notable achievements include designing the patented carbon-carbon brake system utilized in all IndyCar race cars from 2017 to 2022 and receiving the 2017 Louis Schwitzer Award for innovation and engineering excellence in racing technology. Prior to this role, Paul Rankin worked at Burger and Brown Engineering from June 2006 to July 2014 as a Mechanical Design Engineer, focusing on the design of automation machinery for inspection, assembly, and product handling, utilizing various advanced technologies. Paul Rankin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Kansas, earned in 2006.
