Evert van Staden

Evert van Staden has extensive work experience in procurement and sourcing. Evert most recently served as the Director of Indirect Sourcing at Performance Health, starting in November 2017. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Sourcing and Purchasing at The Hygenic Corporation starting from August 2014.

Evert also had a long tenure at GrafTech International, where they held various positions. As the Director of Purchasing Operations from November 2011 to August 2014, they managed procurement operations and implemented strategic sourcing initiatives. Evert also served as the Global Procurement Manager for Raw Materials from April 2007 to October 2011, overseeing global purchasing and managing a team of buyers. Prior to that, Evert worked as a Procurement Manager and Chief Buyer at GrafTech International, where they successfully implemented supply chain improvements and managed procurement activities.

Before joining GrafTech International, Evert worked as a Buyer at Iscor (now ArcelorMittal S.A.) from January 1993 to December 1994. In this role, they were responsible for sourcing and logistics for a variety of key spend categories.

Evert van Staden completed their Matric qualification at Westonaria. Evert then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Financial Management at North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit from 1987 to 1990. Evert furthered their studies with a B.Comm Honns in Financial Management and Commerce at the same university in 1991. Later, they obtained their MBA degree in Supply Chain, Finance, and Financial Management from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit from 1996 to 1998.
