Oliver has more than 20 years of wide transnational experience within the aerospace industry, managing and leading in different functions including program, engineering, manufacturing and quality. He has worked for both small and large enterprises, from businesses with up to 15 employees, to Airbus with over 100.000 employees.
Oliver has been deeply involved in the development of programs like A380, A400M and A350, including incremental improvements for Single Aisle and Long Range programs. Building on his engineering/program knowledge, he gained further professional experience in the production area of the Single Aisle program, as leader for structural assembly in the PRE-FAL of Hamburg, with a rate of up to 60 ACs per month.
The combined experience of leading in top management positions in engineering, program and manufacturing were a good starting point for cross-functional approaches in a transformation program for digitalization from design, via manufacturing, to services, and later in quality with a focus on procurement and cabin program. For two years he acted as Chairman of a Board of Directors for a subsidiary, conducted in parallel with his primary job.
Besides a strong technical background and process understanding, Oliver’s highest motivation is to act, develop and empower people and organizations.
