Monina Carandang

Monina Carandang is a Software Engineer at Performativ, specializing in wealth management software since November 2023. With extensive experience in academia and software development, Monina served as an Assistant Professor at the University of the Philippines at Los Baños from January 2016 to October 2023, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Web Development and introductory Computer Science. Monina led the agile development of a new Academic Information System, utilizing PHP, Laravel, and PostgreSQL. As a Project Study Lead, Monina directed the development of a web application for Project SARAi, focusing on agricultural innovation. Previous roles include Research Associate and Associate Software Engineer, where Monina contributed to various projects involving applications for agricultural development and payment networks. Monina holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines.
