Performing Arts Workshop
Kristi Chan is an experienced teaching artist and mentor with a diverse background in the arts and education. Currently serving as a Teaching Artist Mentor at the Performing Arts Workshop since February 2019, Kristi has previously worked as an Assistant Curator at the California Institute of Integral Studies and as an Artist in Residence at ArtSpan. Kristi's teaching experience includes a role as a Middle School Art Teacher and Art Assistant at Presidio Hill School. Additionally, internships at McNair Evans Photography and various organizations have provided Kristi with skills in photography, graphic design, and storytelling. A graduate of Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art, Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise, Art History, and Latin American Studies, Kristi incorporates cultural immersion into art education, particularly through travel and thematic study abroad trips.
