Karen Gonzalez

Karen Gonzalez began their career in 2013 as a Quality Assurance Intern at PerformLine. Karen then held the role of Lead Data and Product Analyst, followed by Director of Quality Assurance and finally Director of Application Delivery. As Director of Quality Assurance, they facilitated and supported continuous integration by leading and contributing to the test automation framework from the ground up, building test data and tests for the application's public API, and introducing processes that increased the release frequency by 100%. Karen also built the QA organization, defining testing methodologies and introducing tools to continuously improve quality across all products. As Director of Application Delivery, they executed the delivery of new products, major product features, and technology infrastructure improvements by reviewing requirements, identifying dependencies, and planning release schedules. Karen also enabled and coordinated cross-team communication, maintaining transparency and facilitating feedback across the entire organization. As Lead Data and Product Analyst, they drove continuous business improvements by mining various databases using SQL, partnered with various teams to develop, maintain, and report on business challenges and success metrics, and created the company's yearly report containing end of year statistical analysis and infographics.

Karen Gonzalez obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics and Statistics from Rutgers University in 2012. In February 2020, they obtained a certification in Agile Project Management from the University System of Maryland.
