Paul Wilmore has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Paul began their career in 1988 as a Management Associate at Reliance Insurance Company, where they later held the roles of Senior Financial Analyst and Director of Accounting. In 1996, they became a founding member of the senior management team at RelianceDirect, a start-up insurance company that sold personal automobile insurance through direct marketing channels. As CFO, VP Finance and Administration, they were responsible for setting and implementing the strategic direction of the company. In 1999, they became Division President of Reliance Personal, a merger of RelianceDirect and Reliant. In 2004, they joined Barclaycard US as Managing Director, where they were responsible for developing and presenting a bold business case to reenter the open credit card market post the Great Recession. Paul later became Chief Marketing Officer of Barclays US Consumer Bank in 2016. In 2019, they became Global Chief Marketing Officer of Cardtronics and in 2022, they became Chief Operating Officer of PerformLine.
Paul Wilmore received their Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1996. Prior to that, they earned a BA in Economics from Swarthmore College between 1984 and 1988.
