Lisa Barrow

Lisa Barrow has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Lisa began their career as a Lifeguard and Swim Teacher at Askeaton Pool and Leisure Centre, where they were responsible for ensuring the safety of pool users and conducting swimming classes. From 2017-2018, Lisa was a Student R&D Engineer at Novate Medical Ltd and a Student Ambassador at the National University of Ireland, Galway. During 2018, they also worked as a Swim Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2020, Lisa transitioned to a Manufacturing Engineer role at Perfuze, and is currently employed there as a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer.

Lisa Barrow's education history includes a Master of Engineering - MEng in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Galway, obtained in 2019. Lisa also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Galway, obtained in 2018. Prior to this, Lisa attained a Leaving Certificate State Examination 2014 from Limerick Tutorial College in 2014. Her educational background also includes Desmond College, where they studied from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, Lisa has obtained various certifications, including a Level 2 Certificate for Teaching Aquatics from Irish Water Safety (2018), a National Pool Lifeguard Award from Irish Water Safety (2013), a Child Protection Course from Swim Ireland (2013), a Level 1 Certificate For Teaching Aquatics from Swim Ireland (2013), and a First Aid Responder (FAR) from PHECC (2018).
