Rakesh Chaugule

Rakesh Chaugule is an experienced professional in procurement and supply chain management with over 15 years of extensive expertise across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Regional Procurement Business Partner for PERI since January 2020, Rakesh is responsible for strategic procurement initiatives across the India, Middle East, and Africa regions. Previously, Rakesh held the position of Head of Global Procurement India, where responsibilities included global sourcing, supply chain sustainability, and vendor development. Rakesh's career highlights include leadership roles at companies such as LEONI, European Machine Manufacturing Co., General Motors, Cummins India Ltd, and Bharat Forge Ltd, demonstrating a strong track record in strategic sourcing, cost reduction initiatives, and supply chain optimization. Rakesh holds an MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and a GDMM from the Indian Institute of Materials Management.
