David Goorskey

Optical Remote Sensing Engineer at PERIKIN Enterprises, LLC

David Goorskey has over 16 years of experience in the field of science and technology. David has worked as a Research Scientist at NN-Labs (2005-2008), where they developed Mn-doped ZnSe nanocrystals as nanophosphors for white light LEDs and CdTe/CdSe nanocrystal solar cells. Later on, they joined MZA Associates as a Senior Scientist (2008-2017) and worked on multiple scientific projects. David then became a Senior Acquisition Analyst at Cloud Lake Technology (2017-2021) and was responsible for the acquisition of various technologies. Currently, they work as an Optical Remote Sensing Engineer at Perikin Enterprises, LLC (since 2021), where they are involved in developing optical sensing systems.

David Goorskey earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mathematics/Physics from King University in 1997, where they attended from 1993 to 1997. After that, they attended the University of Arkansas from 1999 to 2005. There they earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the field of Microelectronics/Photonics.
