Linley Faye Smith

Period OKC started as a single project to provide tampons for people experiencing homelessness during the pandemic and has grown to a 501c3 foundation dedicated to fighting period poverty. Founded by Jen Green in February 2021, Period OKC gained momentum with the addition of Linley Faye Smith. Truly a grassroots effort, Period OKC so far has been funded by community donations of cash and menstrual products that are provided at no cost to people in need. Period OKC has organized product drives, raised funds and provided over 100 individual deliveries of pads, tampons and cups to more than 65 locations throughout the OKC metro in their first year. The incorporation of the Period OKC Foundation in August 2021 and establishing a Board of Directors in May 2022 has brought Period OKC to where it is today.
