Carrie Wen's work experience includes positions at various organizations. Carrie worked at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP as the Financial Restructuring Practice Manager since June 2021, and previously served as an Executive Assistant from September 2019 to June 2021. Additionally, they held the role of President & Founder of the Downtown NYC Chapter for PERIOD., Inc. from September 2020 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as an Operations Manager at Horizons from July 2015 to January 2021. Carrie also served as a Corporate Paralegal at Morrison Mahoney LLP from May 2018 to May 2019, and as a Litigation Paralegal at Kahn Gordon Timko & Rodriques P.C. from March 2017 to May 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Writing Assistant and Admission Ambassador at the Adelphi University Writing Center from August 2015 to December 2016, and October 2013 to December 2016, respectively. Carrie also had a research and advocate internship role at Rural and Migrant Ministry in 2015.
