Joachim Saesen

Joachim Saesen has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Joachim started their career at Winking in 2010 as an Analyst Developer, where they were responsible for analyzing and developing the FactsManager application. Joachim then joined Meat&More in the same role, where they were responsible for the analysis, development, and maintenance of several .NET applications.

In 2014, Joachim joined Actemium Belgium as an Analyst Developer, where they continued their software development work. Joachim played a key role in implementing the internal framework in .NET, developing the APS application, and migrating the Operra application.

From 2018 to 2020, Joachim worked at Cegeka in various capacities. Joachim started as a Scrum Mastery enthusiast and later took on the role of Analyst Developer. At Cegeka, they were involved in the implementation of new functionality in the MRP component and worked within an international project managed using SAFe.

Most recently, Joachim joined Peripass in 2020 as a Business Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Quality Engineer.

Joachim Saesen completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Information Technology from Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen - Vlaamse Autonome Hogeschool, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Joachim also obtained various certifications. Joachim received certifications in "Dealing with change" and "User story splitting" from The Master Channel in April 2020. Furthermore, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master 1 (PSM1) certification from Scrum.org in December 2019.
