Matti Desmet

Matti Desmet has an extensive work experience in various positions. Matti started their career in 2013 as a Co-Founder of Crew Accreditation Application, where they developed and managed a web application for automated crew accreditation at live music festivals. Matti worked on product development, project management, and implementations before selling the company.

In 2013, Desmet also joined NV Denys as a Site Manager and held this role until 2016. Matti was responsible for managing construction sites.

From 2016 to 2019, Desmet joined Rombit, initially as a Project Manager, responsible for overseeing projects from September 2016 to October 2017. Later, they became an Operations Manager from November 2017 to February 2019.

In 2019, Desmet joined Peripass as a Product & Engineering Director. Matti held this position for an unspecified period of time.

Moreover, in the same year, Desmet also worked as a Product & Engineering Director at ButtonsforCleaners from February 2019 to October 2022.

In addition to their academic achievements, Matti Desmet also obtained several certifications. They became an Instructor in youth work at Vlaamse Dienst Speelpleinwerk (VDS) vzw in April 2012. Prior to this, Matti earned the certification of Youth Team Leader at Vlaamse Dienst Speelpleinwerk (VDS) vzw in August 2011. In August 2008, they obtained the certification of Youth Leader from Kazou vzw. Lastly, they became a Kidstennis assistant certified by VTV & BLOSO in May 2007.
