Youri Van Der Zwalmen

Youri Van Der Zwalmen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Youri is currently the Founder of Copilr Studio, a Startup Studio or Venture Builder that supports founding teams in creating successful companies. At Copilr, Youri acts as a real co-founder and provides startups with the necessary skills to go from idea to their first significant capital round.

In addition to their role at Copilr Studio, Youri is also an Expert in Residence at imec.istart, starting in 2023.

Before their current positions, Youri was involved with Peripass as a Co-founder & Seed Investor and later as the Director of Strategic Accounts & Alliances. Youri held these roles from 2017 to 2020.

Youri also provided general management services for B2B start- & scale-ups from 2021 to 2022.

Youri has also been an Investor in Buttons For Cleaners since 2018.

Prior to these roles, Youri was the Business Unit Director at Quares from 2015 to 2017.

Youri served as the Director of Business Development at Oryx Projects from 2011 to 2015.

Their career started at PSR Brownfield Developers, where they worked as the Head of Business Development - Corporate Clients from 2007 to 2011.

Youri Van Der Zwalmen completed a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing Management from Arteveldehogeschool between 1995 and 1998. Youri later pursued an Expert class - Master in Real Estate from the University of Antwerp from 2004 to 2008. In 2017, they attended Harvard Business School for a short-term program in Leading Professional Service Firms.
