Kathy Umland

Kathy Umland has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Kathy began their career as a Studio Manager at Umland Studios in 1979, where they worked until 1989. Kathy then joined Campbell Mithun Inc as a Creative Manager from 1989 to 1992. Kathy subsequently worked as a Creative Services Manager at BBDO Minneapolis from 1992 to 1994. Kathy then joined Carmichael Lynch as the Director of Creative Operations in 1995 and remained in that position until 2007. Kathy subsequently served as the Director of Creative Operations at Martin Williams from 2006 to 2016. Kathy then joined Periscope as the Director of Creative Services in 2016 and retired from advertising altogether in May 2019, but continues to pursue other interests.

Kathy Umland attended the University of Minnesota from 1975 to 1977, majoring in Education. However, they did not obtain a degree during this period.
