Jane Halasz

Jane Halasz has extensive work experience in project management and editing roles. Jane started their career at Booz Allen Hamilton in 1981, where they worked as a Senior Technical Editor. Their responsibilities included proposal production, compliance support, and technical editing for contract documentation. Jane also implemented procedures to ensure contract compliance and provided project documentation and management reports. Jane then moved to Lockheed Martin in 1987, where they served as a Senior Technical Editor for over a year. In 1988, they joined UPS Information Technology as a Senior Business Analyst, where they focused on knowledge management, requirement elicitation and documentation, process evaluation, and project management. Jane continued their role as a Senior Business Analyst at UPS, working on business and application processes. In 2012, Jane joined Weight Watchers as a Leader, where they worked until 2014. During their time at Weight Watchers, they showed leadership skills in guiding and supporting others. In 2014, they joined Benchmark Publications as a Senior Editor/Project Manager, where they were responsible for academic and technical editing. Jane also developed a production management matrix to ensure the completion of all contributions. In 2017, Jane joined PeriShip as a Project Manager. Their current role involves managing and overseeing projects within the company.

Jane Halasz obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Maryland, studying from 1981 to 1984. Later on, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Instructional Design at New York University from 1991 to 1993. In between, they attended the University of Baltimore for publication design from 1989 to 1991, but did not obtain a degree.
