Andrei Vertikov

Andrei Vertikov is a Research Development Lead specializing in in-vivo imaging systems at PerkinElmer, Inc. since September 2021. With a robust background in medical device research, Andrei has contributed to advancements in next-generation imaging applications for various diseases, including lung cancer and prostate cancer. Prior roles include positions at Medtronic, where Andrei focused on systems for ventricular assist devices, and LX Medical as Head of Technology, overseeing the development of minimally invasive imaging catheters and bronchoscopic devices. Further experience includes leadership in product development at Tomophase, where Andrei concentrated on disposable imaging catheters and software for diagnostics of pulmonary and cardiovascular diseases. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Physics from Brown University and an MS in Laser Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
