Cory Schomburg

Cory Schomburg has a strong background in the scientific field, with experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Research Chemist at ATMI until 2004. Following that, they joined Columbian Chemicals (now Aditya Birla Group) as the Analytical and Oil Analysis Laboratory Manager. During their time there, they managed the testing of carbon black, fuel oils, and other materials using a wide range of analytical instruments. In 2011, Cory joined PerkinElmer, Inc. where they became a Sr. Product Specialist responsible for driving sales through applications development and instrumentation workshops. Most recently, Cory served as the Principal Scientist of Key Accounts at PerkinElmer, providing technical expertise and developing instrumentation and testing procedures for the oil, lubricants, and fuels market segments.

Cory Schomburg obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M University in 1994. Subsequently, from 1994 to 2000, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Analytical Chemistry at Louisiana State University.
