Niina Hokkanen

Niina Hokkanen is a Senior Quality Specialist at PerkinElmer, Wallac Oy since August 2014, responsible for quality oversight of Molecular Diagnostic products, managing batch releases, deviations, customer complaints, and contributing to product development projects. Prior to this role, Niina worked as a Consultant at Gaia Consulting Oy, focusing on carbon footprint analysis and environmental assessments from March 2012 to July 2014. From January 2009 to March 2012, Niina served as an Inspector for the OPCW, conducting inspections under the Chemical Weapons Convention globally. Earlier experience includes a position as a Production Chemist at PCAS Finland Oy, where Niina performed process design and development for active pharmaceutical ingredients from June 2002 to December 2008, and as a Research Assistant at VERIFIN in early 2000. Niina holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Turku, encompassing Chemistry, Environmental Science, Business Economics, Development Studies, and Geology.
