Tomer Simovich

Tomer Simovich is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as a Sr. Product Application Specialist at PerkinElmer, Inc. since February 2019, where responsibilities include training users and ensuring understanding of FTIR, UV-Vis, and Thermal Materials Characterization instruments across Australia and New Zealand. Previously, Tomer held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at Ruhr University Bochum, leading projects on superhydrophobic coatings for marine applications and micro-fluidic bioassays. Tomer has extensive tutoring experience, having worked as the national lead chemistry tutor for GradReady Pty. Ltd. and as a private tutor for high school and tertiary levels. In addition, Tomer contributed to the academic community as a Laboratory Demonstrator at The University of Melbourne and as a Technical Analyst in Surface and Chemical Analysis. Tomer holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with honors from the University of Melbourne.
