Karl Ege

Karl Ege is a Senior Counsel at Perkins Coie LLP since March 2008, specializing in private legal practice related to financial institutions, investment management, securities regulation, corporate governance, and international business. Previously, Karl served as Chief Legal Officer at Russell Investments from January 1992 to December 2008, during which Karl was a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Karl also held the position of Partner at Bogle & Gates from May 1972 to December 1991, leading the Corporate Finance and Securities Group. Karl's military service includes a role as Captain in the United States Marine Corps from June 1965 to August 1969, with combat duty in Vietnam. Educational qualifications comprise a Doctor of Law (JD) from Cornell Law School, an MBA from Syracuse University, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University.
