Derek Johnson

Derek Johnson, AIA, is a seasoned architect with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Principal at Perkins&Will since October 2012, where roles have included Associate Principal, Technical Director, and Technical Coordinator. Prior to this, Derek was an Associate at Machado and Silvetti Associates from June 2003 to October 2012 and began their career as an Intern Architect at SMBW, PLLC from June 1997 to August 2000. Derek holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from Harvard University (2000-2003) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Architecture from the University of Virginia (1993-1997).
