Thomas Kearns

Thomas Kearns is an accomplished Digital Innovation Strategist and Associate Principal at Perkins&Will since February 2020, focusing on technology product development and digital transformation in the AEC sector. Kearns is also a Partner at Tortus, co-founded in December 2018, dedicated to creating experiences for active mobile lifestyles. Previously, Kearns founded and directed Bit Space, an educational business that grew significantly in four years, and served in various academic roles at the Illinois Institute of Technology, contributing to the development of design communication curricula. Kearns has entrepreneurial experience through several ventures, including Space to Play and sand_box, and has a strong educational background with an MS in Game Development from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University.
