Jim Perley

After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University in Hayward, Jim founded Perley Cable Construction in 1981 and began providing installation and construction services to central Illinois. He would later pioneer the use of directional boring in the communications field. In 1989, Jim formed Tel-Star Communications, which serves over 3500 customers in central Illinois with voice, video, and internet services. He expanded his business in 1993 to include engineering and design services with current customers all throughout the United States. In 2019, Jim expanded PCCI into Florida bringing construction services to Southwest Florida. Since expanding into Florida, Jim has also founded i5 Fiber, a fiber to the home internet provider serving Southwest Florida.
