Perley Health
Daniela Acosta serves as the Manager of Education and Knowledge Translation at Perley Health since January 2013, leading the design and implementation of the interprofessional corporate education plan while managing a team that enhances clinical practice and develops the Knowledge Translation program. Previous roles include Collaborative Practice Leader, where best practices and education were promoted in long-term care, and Registered Nurse as a Charge Nurse coordinating care for seniors and veterans. Daniela also functioned as a BPSO Liaison, driving the Best Practice Spotlight Organization program's corporate implementation. Earlier experience includes positions as a Program Officer at Health Canada, a Medical Assistant at Appletree Medical Group, and a Laboratory Technician at Pfizer. Daniela holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Ottawa.
