Perley Health
Geraldina Carvalho is an experienced Personal Support Worker and Gerontology Expert with a comprehensive background in palliative and dementia care. Since June 2009, Geraldina has been serving at the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Centre / Foundation, where responsibilities include monitoring vital signs and updating patient records. Previously, from June 2007 to August 2020, work at Carefor Health & Community Services involved providing personal care, mobilization, ambulation, and transfers for various clients. At The Ottawa Mission, from March 2009 to April 2011, duties included assisting with daily living activities for patients in palliative care and addiction. Earlier experience as the Administrator of the Public Relations Branch at Direct Energy Portugal involved exceptional organizational skills in event planning and staff coordination. Geraldina holds a degree in Personal Support Work from Algonquin Career Academy.
