Gil Alexander

Gil Alexander has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Gil began their career as a Hydrogeologist at the U.S. Geological Survey in 1987. Gil then worked as an Operations Manager at Smith Management Group from 1994 to 2002. Following that, they joined Tetra Tech as an Operations Manager and Senior Geologist until 2007.

In 2007, Gil became the Principal Scientist and Environmental Group Leader at MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, where they were responsible for overseeing a team of professionals and managing projects in the Kentucky region. Gil held this position until 2010 when they joined MICAH Group Energy & Environmental as a Program Manager of Environmental Services.

From 2015 to 2019, Gil served as the Vice President of Environmental Services at Ameriphysics, LLC, where they led environmental remediation projects for federal, commercial, and institutional clients. During this time, they managed the decommissioning and removal of cyclotron units, as well as the remediation of lead mine waste sites and brownfields redevelopment.

In 2019, Gil joined Alliant Corporation as a Project Manager, overseeing multidisciplinary investigation and engineering teams for Army Corps of Engineer projects. Gil also played a role in business development and managing client relationships.

Most recently, Gil has been serving as a Project Manager at Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. since 2020. In this role, they are responsible for leading teams on large-scale radiological and environmental decommissioning projects for various clients, including the National Laboratory complex and critical national defense projects.

Throughout their career, Gil Alexander has demonstrated expertise in project management, team leadership, environmental remediation, and strategic planning.
