John Leach has extensive work experience in the environmental services industry. John started their career in 2001 as the Director of Operations at First Environmental Nationwide, Inc. John then moved to HEPACO, Inc. in 2003, where they served as the Emergency Response Project Manager until 2014. During their time at HEPACO, they managed operations and projects, including national level disasters such as the BP Oil spill and TVA ash spill.
In 2015, Leach joined SWS Environmental Services as the Service Center Manager in Knoxville. John was responsible for managing day-to-day operations and project management at the service center.
In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Emergency Response Manager at SWS Environmental Services, where they oversaw emergency response operations until 2017.
Leach then joined Environmental Management Specialists, Inc. (EMS) in 2017 as a Senior Project Manager, where they worked until 2018.
Most recently, Leach worked at Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. starting in 2018. John held two roles at the company, starting as a Project Manager and later becoming a Senior Project Manager. The end date for their roles at Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. is not provided.
John Leach obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. In addition, they obtained a certification in CHMM from IHMM in April 2010.
