John Van Gundy

John Van Gundy has over 20 years of work experience in project management and project controls. John has held various roles in different companies, focusing on developing and maintaining schedules, managing project controls teams, and ensuring compliance with EVMS (Earned Value Management System) requirements.

John'srecent work experience includes working as a Sr. Project Controls Specialist at Perma-Fix Environmental Services, where they provided technical direction and oversight to Project Controls personnel. John also worked as a Self Employed Project Management Consultant, developing and maintaining resource-loaded schedules for environmental remediation and construction projects.

Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Project Controls Engineer at Alliant Corporation, supporting government clients at DOE Oak Ridge facilities. John was responsible for developing and maintaining resource-loaded schedules, processing BCPs (Baseline Change Proposals) and trends, and providing EVMS analysis and reporting.

John also has experience as a Manager of Project Controls at Energy Solutions, where they managed the daily activities of the Isotek Project Controls group. John successfully led the development of project controls procedures and received EVMS Certification.

Additionally, they worked as a Manager of License Plate Reader Program at Perceptics LLC, managing projects to design, manufacture, and install LPR systems for US Customs & Border Protection. John also worked as a Sr. Project Management Consultant at Project Management Solutions and as a Manager of Project Controls at US West Federal Services Division.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated strong leadership skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to meeting project requirements and customer expectations.

John Van Gundy pursued their education chronologically, beginning with their studies at Clark Technical College from 1980 to 1982. During this time, they earned an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Later on, from 1986 to 1988, John attended Tusculum University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management.
