David J. Mansfield

David J. Mansfield is the current President & CEO at Perma-Pipe. David has over 25 years of experience in executive-level financial and operational analysis, strategic planning, and refinancing and turnaround activities.

Mansfield began their career in 1992 as Vice President, Strategic Planning at Bredero Shaw. David was a member of the executive team reporting to the President with key decision support role for the development and implementation of the growth strategies of the Group. In this role, they provided executive expertise in financial and operational analysis of the Group’s capabilities, competitor’s positions and market opportunities to determine strategic options for the reorganisation of existing capacity, acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures. David also played a lead role in the development of long term strategic and financial plans.

In 2015, Mansfield became Chief Financial Officer at Compressor Engineering Corporation (CECO) & CECO Pipeline Services. In this role, they were a member of the executive team with overall responsibility for directing the financial, accounting and administrative affairs of the company, including IT, HR, insurance, internal control, management and financial reporting, treasury, tax compliance, investment evaluation, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting. David also led refinancing activities and turnaround plan including the development of the company’s policies, procedures and growth plans.

In their current role as President & CEO at Perma-Pipe, Mansfield is responsible for leading the company’s strategy and operations to achieve its long-term vision and objectives. Under their leadership, Perma-Pipe has become a leading provider of critical infrastructure solutions for the oil and gas, power generation, industrial, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, water treatment, and municipal markets.

David J. Mansfield has a type ACCA certification in accountancy from The University of Huddersfield. David also has a FCCA certification from the Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK).
