Marcus A. Granderson

Marcus A. Granderson has over 18 years of work experience in finance and strategy roles. Marcus A. is currently the Vice President of Finance at ChampionX since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Marathon Oil Corporation for 5 years, where they held various positions including Assistant Treasurer - Corporate Finance, Permian Operations Planning Manager, and Strategic Portfolio Manager. Before Marathon Oil, Marcus worked at Noble Energy for 6 years in roles such as Sr. Finance Manager, Strategic Planning Manager, and Sr. Financial Analyst. Marcus A. started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Audit and M&A Transaction Services department, where they worked for 7 years.

Marcus A. Granderson holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a finance and strategy focus in the executive program from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business. Marcus A. completed their studies at Rice Business from 2011 to 2013.

Prior to their time at Rice Business, Marcus earned a Bachelor's degree in Business from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. Marcus A. double-majored in finance and accounting and attended the institution from 1999 to 2003.

In addition to their degrees, Marcus A. Granderson earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in August 2006.
