Mohamed Elmesalamy

Mohamed Elmesalamy, MBA, serves as the Business Development Director for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) at ChampionX since March 2022, having previously held the position of Business Development Manager for the MENA region. Prior experience includes over a decade at Clariant, where significant achievements include leading a sales growth of 12% and a profitability boost of 6% during the pandemic as Head of Sales for Oil Services in the Middle East. Mohamed managed a USD 25 million P&L across five countries, witnessing a revenue increase of 94% over four years. Other roles at Clariant included District Manager for the UAE, Iraq, Egypt, and Turkey, Country Manager for Egypt and the Levantine, and Account Manager for Egypt and Syria. Earlier career highlights include serving as an OFC Sales Representative at Nalco Champion and as a Production Chemist at Eshpetco. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Abu Dhabi University and ongoing executive leadership training at Cornell University.
