Daniel Bohannon

Daniel Bohannon has worked in the information security field since 2010. Daniel began their career at Chick-fil-A Corporate as an Information Security & Compliance Analyst, Integration & Data Services Analyst, and Application Delivery Associate from 2010 to 2015. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Mandiant as a Senior Incident Response Consultant, Senior Applied Security Researcher, and Principal Applied Security Researcher. Since 2020, they have been employed at Microsoft as a Principal Security Researcher.

Daniel Bohannon holds a Master of Science degree in Information Security from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained in 2013. Daniel also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Georgia, which they obtained in 2010. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the ITIL Foundation in 2014, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)2 in 2015, the Certified Ethical Hacker v8 (CEH) from EC-Council in 2015, and the GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) from GIAC in 2014.
