Chad Seaman

Chad Seaman is an accomplished security researcher with extensive experience in various domains of technology and cybersecurity. Currently serving as the Principal Security Researcher and Team Lead at Akamai Technologies since September 2014, Chad specializes in DDoS and vulnerability research, malware analysis, forensics, OSINT, and threat intelligence, while actively developing custom tools and systems for processing attack data. Prior to this role, Chad contributed to the Synack Red Team as a Bug Bounty Hunter, delivering exploitation discovery for major brands. Earlier in the career, Chad worked as a web developer at Global Personals, LLC, and other companies, utilizing skills in PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and various technologies to create diverse applications and systems. In addition to these roles, Chad serves as a firefighter at Harmony Township Fire Department since October 2024.
