Paul Nguyen

Paul Nguyen has had a long and varied career in the cybersecurity field. In 2006, they were the Chief Information Security Officer/Director of Information Assurance at the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency, where they built an Information Assurance Program and developed a Security Metrics Program that was featured in a Gartner Metrics Study. In 2007, they joined Deloitte & Touche LLP as a Manager. In 2008, they became the Director of Federal Solutions at Neohapsis, now part of Cisco, where they were part of the committee that developed the first CSO Organizational Standard approved by ANSI. In 2009, they joined Knowledge Consulting Group as Vice President of Cyber Solutions. In 2014, they were appointed to the Board of Directors at the Internet Security Alliance. In 2013, they founded and became Co-CEO of Permiso Security, where they were responsible for launching their cloud-based security services. From 2016 to 2019, they were SVP, VP, and GM of Helix and Orchestration at FireEye, Inc. In 2022, they became an Investor at both Truffle Security Co. and Resourcely.io.

Paul Nguyen has obtained a Master of Science in IT Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Finance from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business. Paul has also obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
