Wei Quan

Wei Quan has worked in the tech industry since 2009. Wei began their career as a Research Assistant at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2009, followed by a Volunteer Reader role at Jumpstart in 2010. In 2010, they also began working as a Computer Science Graduate Student and Student IT Consultant at the University of Southern California. In 2011, they were a Student Research Assistant at Information Sciences Institute. In 2012, they became a Software Engineer at McAfee. From 2013 to 2019, Wei Quan worked at FireEye, Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, leading Internal RTS Service including data pipeline and data analysis, as well as development work on network data plane and malware detection engines. Since 2019, they have been a Software Architect at AnChain.AI Inc. and is currently a Principal Engineer at Permiso Security.

Wei Quan obtained a Bachelor degree in Information Security from Shanghai Jiao Tong University between 2006 and 2010. Wei then pursued a Master degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California between 2010 and 2012.
