Charlie Silver has a long and successful career in business and technology. Charlie began their career in 1982 as a Staff Member for Congressman Sander M. Levin. In 1985, they founded Oil Dispatch, Inc, a chain of 17 quick oil-change stores in the Detroit Area, and also became the General and Managing Partner of Oil Dispatch Limited Partnerships, where they acquired valuable, high traffic pad sites for the development of quick oil-change stores. In 1997, they co-founded RealAge, Inc, where they raised $17 million in capital and developed a unique business plan of using a medically valid questionnaire to collect data and provide users with valuable individualized content. After doubling revenue every year after the crash in 2001, the company was successfully sold to the Hearst Corporation in 2007. In 2011, they became the CEO of Algebraix Data Corporation and Board Member and Co-founder of Reality Shares, Inc, where they rang The Opening Bell\u00ae at the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate the successful launch of its DIVS ETF fund (NYSE Arca: DIVY). In 2016, they became a Board Member of Love Stories TV. In 2017, they became the Chairman and CEO of Permission.io, the leading provider of permission advertising for eCommerce. In 2019, they became a Member of Forbes Technology Council.

Charlie Silver attended the University of Michigan, where they earned a BA in History.
