Elise Oosterhuis

Elise Oosterhuis currently serves as Data Quality Lead and previously held the role of Data Quality Analyst at Peroptyx since October 2023. Oosterhuis completed a PhD in Psychology at Lancaster University, with a thesis focused on neurobiological and lifestyle contributions to word-finding abilities in healthy aging. During the PhD, Oosterhuis managed a multifaceted project involving experimental design, data collection, and analysis using various programming tools. Prior roles at Lancaster University included Research Associate, where monitoring participant recruitment and data analysis were key responsibilities, and Graduate Teaching Assistant, contributing to undergraduate and master's courses in psychology. Oosterhuis's educational background includes multiple master's degrees in Clinical Linguistics and Linguistics from prestigious institutions across Europe, along with a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Groningen. Prior to academic pursuits, Oosterhuis worked as a production employee at IJsselgrow B.V. from May 2011 to August 2017.
