Alan Pezeshki has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and technology fields. Alan began their career in 2005 as an Intern at Delphi Product and Service Solutions, where they created a Customer Set-up document and administered the GoDelphi website. In 2008, they were a Lab Assistant at the California Institute of Technology, followed by an Intern role at Altair Engineering in 2009. In 2010, they were a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at the California Institute of Technology, and in 2011, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee and an Intern at Chevron in Environment & Climate Change. In 2016, they joined Phase Two Chemicals as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Research Engineer.
Alan Pezeshki obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Caltech between 2007 and 2011. Alan then went on to pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Energy Science & Engineering at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which they completed in 2016.
