Chaitanya Bhatraju has a diverse work experience. Chaitanya is currently working as a Process Engineer at Perpetual Next since May 2023. Prior to this, they pursued an EngD in Process and Equipment Design from Technische Universiteit Delft, where they completed their studies from February 2021 to April 2023. Chaitanya also worked as an Intern at Aluminium & Chemie Rotterdam BV from May 2020 to August 2020. Chaitanya has been involved in various roles at Technische Universiteit Delft, including working as a Teaching Assistant from September 2019 to November 2019, as a Research Assistant from March 2019 to June 2019, and conducting a Master Thesis Project from September 2019 to May 2020. Before that, they worked on a conceptual design project at Tata Steel, focusing on high-temperature waste heat recovery, from September 2019 to April 2020. Additionally, Chaitanya has entrepreneurial experience with two start-up companies: Nirbhay, where they served as a Founder from March 2019 to August 2019, and Eco2Chill, where they co-founded the company from March 2019 to August 2019. In 2019, they also worked on a design project at Hexion Inc., focusing on the conceptual design and evaluation of a process for aniline production. Chaitanya's earliest work experience dates back to their Bachelor Thesis Project at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, which they completed from August 2016 to May 2017.

Chaitanya Bhatraju completed their Master's degree in Chemical Process Engineering at Delft University of Technology from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Process Engineering, Optimization, and Modeling from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, between 2013 and 2017. Before entering university, Chaitanya attended Narayana Junior College in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, where they completed their high school education with a focus on Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Chaitanya also obtained several certifications. Chaitanya completed the "Technology Entrepreneurship: Lab to Market" course at Harvard University in September 2021. Chaitanya obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification in Quantitative Tools for Quality and Productivity from the Technical University of Munich in February 2021. Furthermore, Chaitanya obtained an edX Verified Certificate for Industrial Biotechnology from edX in December 2020.
