Kyle Polley

Kyle Polley is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in building and leading security teams across several organizations. Currently a Member of Technical Staff in Security at Perplexity, Kyle focuses on establishing the foundational security team. Previously, as the Head of Security at Pipe, Kyle expanded responsibilities to include management of the Internal Systems team, overseeing security, infrastructure, data, developer experience, and IT while maintaining operational efficiency. Early career contributions include significant roles at Robinhood, where Kyle led the creation of the Detection & Response & Threat Intelligence team, and at PatternEx, where innovation in machine learning for threat detection was spearheaded. Kyle's technical foundation was built at NASA Ames Research Center, contributing to IT security operations and research initiatives. Kyle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis.
