Brandon Short

Software Architect at PERQ

Brandon Short began their career in 1996 as a Project Lead at Worldspan, where they worked on TWA cargo applications and fares and pricing applications. In 2005, they joined Aprimo as a Senior Principal Software Engineer, where they worked on many projects and enhancements on the Marketing Resource Management (MRM) products and underlying architecture. Brandon also served as an interim scrum master during the transition from waterfall to agile methodologies. In 2014, they became a Software Architect at PERQ, where they worked with the data architect to build a highly scalable web engagement platform from the ground up. Brandon utilized Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide a high level of availability, reliability, scalability and performance, and utilized Dev-ops practices, including TDD to quickly and frequently deliver high quality software.

Brandon Short attended Lincoln Trail College, Robinson IL from 1992 to 1994, where they earned an Associate's degree. Brandon then attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1994 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
