Senior Consultant at Perrett Laver

James Whitehead began their career in 2014 as a Class Teacher at Birmingham City Council. In 2015, they were promoted to Phase Leader/Assistant Head at the same company. James then moved to Michael Page in 2017, where they worked as a Consultant and Senior Consultant. In 2019, James joined Oliver James Associates as a Senior Consultant, where they were responsible for handling interim appointments up to C-suite level on a contingent and retained basis for roles in Finance, Audit, Risk and Compliance within the Insurance space across the South of England. In 2020, they joined Alumni Harvey Nash as a Principal Consultant and Principal Researcher before moving to Perrett Laver in 2022, where they are currently working as a Consultant. James is responsible for end-to-end delivery of assignments from proposal & pitch through to offer negotiation, managing research activity and acting as key contact for clients.

James Whitehead began their educational career at The Manchester Grammar School from 2002 to 2009. James then attended the University of Birmingham from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Geography. After this, they attended the University of Cambridge from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained a PGCE Primary in Education.
