Shivani Smith (she/her)

Regional Head for UK, Middle East and Africa, Social Impact and Environment Practice at Perrett Laver

Shivani Smith has been working in the non-profit sector for over 19 years. Shivani started their career in 2001 as Assistant Coordinator for Committed Communities Development Trust. Shivani then went on to become Development Director for Twist Partnership in 2004, Account Manager for Cause and Effect (now C&E Advisory) in 2006, Corporate Partnerships and Innovation Manager for Rathbone in 2008, Business Development Director for nfpSynergy in 2009, and Principal Consultant, Development for NFP Consulting in 2014. From 2016 to 2018, Smith held the role of Chair for both Khulisa and The Advocacy Academy UK. Currently, they are a Partner, Social Impact and Environment Practice & Lead, UK Voluntary Sector and Charities at Perrett Laver, as well as Co-Chair of the Equity Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Shivani Smith's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Sociology from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 1997 and 2000. Shivani then obtained an MA in Public Policy and Management from the University of York between 2003 and 2006. Prior to that, Smith earned an International Baccalaureate diploma from Marymount International School between 1994 and 1997. Shivani also attended Frank Anthony Public School, Bangalore between 1990 and 1994.
