Tegan Brand

Tegan Brand is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as an Environmental Specialist at Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO) since March 2023. Prior roles include Environmental Compliance & Permitting Lead and Environmental Coordinator at Heidelberg Materials, as well as Staff Geologist and Project Assistant/Office Admin at Farallon Consulting. Tegan also worked as a Field Technician Surveyor at Core Design, Inc. from September 2017 to June 2019, executing surveys and data collection using various technologies. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Geophysics from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Master of Environmental Science in Hydrology and Water Security from the University of Oklahoma. Tegan’s internship with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources focused on environmental compliance and familiarized Tegan with regulations related to NPDES permits.
