Jarissa Sanchez

Jarissa Sanchez is a dedicated education professional currently pursuing a degree at National University, with experience as a Graduate/Credential Student focused on preliminary education specialism and teaching processes through Social Emotional Learning and Universal Design for Learning frameworks. Jarissa has been a Special Education Paraeducator for Perris Union High School District since 2016, providing instructional support for high school and middle school students with diverse cognitive and emotional needs. Previous experience includes working as a Behavioral Therapist with youth on the Autism spectrum at Behavior Frontiers, and as a Caregiver at AT SUNNY HILLS HOME CARE, where responsibilities included medication administration and providing companionship to elderly residents. Early in the career, Jarissa served as an AVID Tutor at Valley View High School, assisting students across all subjects and supporting teachers with grading. A Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts was obtained from the University of California, Riverside.
