Carlos Salazar has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Carlos began their career with American Airlines/AMR as a Senior Quality Control Engineer in 1996. Carlos then worked at AEI Quality Worldwide Logistics as an Engineering Manager from 1997 to 1999. Carlos joined Bellsouth Telecommunications Inc. in 1999, where they held a role in Network Engineering/Management until 2002. From 2003 to 2011, Carlos worked at FedEx Express - LAC Division in Project Engineering/Management. In 2012, they joined Brightstar as a Supply Chain Business Manager, followed by a role at Auxis in 2013 as a Consulting Manager - Supply Chain. Carlos worked at eNet IT Group from 2014 to 2018 as a Consulting Practice Director. Currently, they are employed as the Director of Supply Chain Management at Perry Ellis International.
Carlos Salazar completed their education with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Florida International University in 1997. Carlos then pursued a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, completing the degree between 2001 and 2004. In 2011, Carlos undertook two educational programs. Firstly, they enrolled in the Lean Six Sigma course at Florida International University. Secondly, they obtained a Master Certification in Project Management (PMP® Certification Course) from Nova Southeastern University. Carlos also holds additional certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Life & Variable Annuity, and Project Management Professional (PMP).
