Xiomara Alcala

Xiomara Alcala has a wide range of experience in the fashion industry. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Freelance Designer for Carole Hochman Design Group for six months. From there, they joined Van Mar Inc. as an Associate Designer for almost a year. In 2005, they transitioned to Necessary Objects as an Associate Designer until 2007. At Hanesbrands Inc., Xiomara served as a Designer for three years until 2010. Since then, they have been working as a Design Director at Perry Ellis International.

Xiomara Alcala has pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Additionally, they have also attended Parsons School of Design - The New School, where they pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree. At Parsons, their field of study was focused on Fashion/Apparel Design.
