Derek Vaughn

Derek Vaughn is an experienced professional in the hospitality industry, currently serving as a Staff Accountant at Perry Lane Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Savannah since December 2021. Prior to this role, Derek held various positions in front office management at Sonesta Hotels and Marriott International, including Assistant Front Office Manager and Front Desk Supervisor. Earlier experience includes roles as Rooms Controller at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, and Revenue Management Analyst at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa. Derek began a career in hospitality with a position as Closing Manager at Golden Corral Steakhouse, after working as a Cart Attendant at Pleasant Point Golf Course. Derek obtained a degree from the University of South Carolina-Beaufort and graduated from Beaufort High School.
